Baby Bobby

All this time my baby sister (Monica Cordova) has always had this huge piece of my heart. Literally, every time I'd try and explain my love for her I'd always get choked up and teary eyed and to this day I still do.
Way before she got pregnant I remember telling her "hurry up and have a baby, we need more Moni's in this world" she'd just laugh and proceed to tell me how it wasn't the right time. The day my parents and I got the call from both of them letting us know she was pregnant I got completely choked up.

Throughout those nine months I felt my relationship with my sister getting stronger yet felt like we were as distant as the miles between us. God works in mysterious yet amazing way. That huge piece of my heart belong to Bobby now but that doesn't mean I love my baby sister any less. She's one of the sweetest most amazing woman I know. I am blessed to call her my sister, my best friend.

DIY Face Mask

Hello guys!!! I wanted to share yet another favorite face mask of mine. If you were lucky like me and got to stay home on this lovely, crispy Monday, I highly recommend you to relax and try this awesome mask.

What you will need:
-Banana
-Plain Yogurt
-Honey

Smash half a banana



Add 2 tbsp of yogurt

Add 1 tbsp of honey

Looks so pretty.

 

Mix it all together. Make sure your face in super clean, then apply it all over your pretty face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. This mask will help your face maintain that glow and smoothness we all love!!! Now sit back and relax but don't forget to rinse it off with cold water.

Pretty Autumn Colors

Have I mentioned how much I love fall??? Well if I haven’t done it enough… I LOVE LOVE fall. The leaves turn to rust, the air gets thin. I get to wear scarfs, boots, and big sweaters, and well that makes me happy. Also, I notice that my taste in music changes drastically during Fall/Winter.

Randy Rogers Band just gives me that warm yet chilly fall feeling. It's hard to explain but it kinda completes me. Their music is amazing. Check out their music video at the bottom of this post.

Those orange/red flowers are still growing strong and look so pretty. Enjoy!

Sunday Funday

I LOVE Sundays, specially this time of year. While most of my friends and baby sister are snuggling with their significant other and kiddos I am home watching Law & Order SVU, reading, doing my toes, and taking awesome pictures. All in that order too.

Chilly weather is here and we can't showing off our piggy's as much as we'd like, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't show them some love. I soaked my pretty little feet with burning water and sea salt. Right now they feel AMAzing.

Wifey Time

I spent the weekend with my best friend in Las Cruces and we rocked the town. We had some exquisite wine, super fancy dinner, and some much needed shopping time.

We did some dancing followed by some Jack in the Box at 3 in the AM.

I was also 22 Saturday. Epic. Fail.

We looked fabulous.



It was also my niece's seventh Birthday Saturday. Sooooo we kinda sang to her. Watch at your own risk. We are ridiculous.



New Favotires

Hey Guys! Hope you all enjoyed the first Monday of October.

I thought I'd share some of the things I've been loving lately:

Love Spell Forbidden Mist & Body lotion by Victoria Secret. This is one of their new scents and it smells amazing. I bought five different ones but this one is definitely my fall favorite.

Gotta love their 5 for $30 deal.

 Next to Nothing Shimmer Eye Shadow by Victoria Secret. I use it by itself or with a nice brown. (brown is my comfort zone btw ha) and it just looks so pretty on. Their products kick ass.

Haute Couture Red by Loreal.   Best.Fall.Color.Ever.

DIY Mask - I know I keep talking about this mask over and over again but I cannot stress enough about how fabulous it is. It does so many great things to your skin and hair. If you haven't tried it let me tell you, you are missing out. My face is smoother, less oily, and my acne scars are disappearing. Yahooooo.

Gold Cross Bracelet - from JRoberts.  It just looks fabulous on.

Fall Reading List

I thought I’d tell you guys about some the books that are on my radar for fall. My schedule has been a little crazy the past three months but I am definitely going to read all of them.

Life of Pi by Yann Martel - A story about adventure, survival, and ultimately faith. It's a classic.

The Perks of Being a Wildflower by Stephen Chbosky - this book just sounds so uplifting, full of passivity vs. passion. I cannot wait for the movie becuase I LOVE Emma Watson.

The Pact by Jodi Picoult - Love, heartbreak, suspense. You can never go wrong with Jodi.

Where We Belong by Emily Giffin - I've read all of her books and she is one of my favorite authors. You will love this humorous love story.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed - I've heard nothing but great things about this book. 

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern - I really like the cover and it's been meantioned several times on some of the blogs I follow. Now I want to read it.
